Georgia's State Highways

Georgia's state highway system, unlike the U.S. and Interstate systems, have no particular rhyme or reason for route numbering.

However, exceptions are as follows:

Georgia-Florida Parkway (State Route 300)

The Georgia-Florida Parkway is partly what was to be I-175.

This corridor runs from I-75 (Exit 99) just south of Cordele to Albany parallel to the now-defunct I-175 path. It meets US 19/SR 3 in Albany and proceeds southward toward Thomasville and the Florida state line.

TOTAL MILEAGE OF SR 300: 114 (approx. 182 km)

400-Series Routes

Georgia's 400-series routes are numbers primarily assigned to the Interstates (with the exceptions being State Routes 400 and 410.

The 400-series routes are as follows:

500-Series Routes

These are special designations for the GRIP Corridors.

700/800/900-Series Routes

These are special designations for new highway construction such as bypasses.
